You have until January 6, 2019 to visit. Do not delay!
Overall, the exhibit was done very well, and highly recommend
going with a friend. I had the pleasure
of going with my friend Sylvia. I
understand the topic is controversial and not joyful. However, life is not always sunshine and
roses. If you do not know much about the
Vietnam War, it is worth a visit. Two of
the best aspects of the exhibit were the videos and how interactive it is. The videos had real people talking about the
experiences. Two small complaints are
that the writing did not go into detail.
Audio recordings of the presidents were difficult to hear. I would like to understand more what Vietnamization
really was.
Afterwards my friend Sylvia and I walked up 7th
St. NW and ate dinner at Rosa Mexicano. The
restaurant is modern and upscale with Mexican cuisine. The nachos were delicious. There are other choices of restaurants one
can choose from along 7th St. If you are looking for a fun day and
evening outing in DC, I would highly endorse the National Archives and dinner
afterwards.
Happy adventures!
